I accomplished something...

I have made a goal... While I am home praying and hoping on phone calls for jobs that I am going to accomplish a task each day that I have procrastinated. It may be big, it may be small but it will be something.

Today I tackled a big, tall stack of bills that I have shoved in a corner for two years. Most were old and yes I had paid most of them. I just shoved it all in the corner, envelopes and all. I tackled it today. I feel good and it took hours. They are now in my paperwork binder all in groups according to who they were.

Be proud of me.

Oh, I also went and spent three hours with my grandfather. I listened to him fuss, preach and cry. More fussing and preaching then crying though. He did ask me at the end why he is still here when he wants to be with my grandmother and Jesus. I told him that his chores were not done and that God wasn't finished with him yet. He did not like that answer. I then told him that my grandmother was not finished cleaning his house in Heaven yet. He just laughed. She was always seeing to it that he was taken care of and probably still is.

that is good Becky to make goals like this and carry them though; good for you with organizing the bills! I bet it felt good when you were all done with it

your poor grandfather; I'm glad you spent the time with him. I remember my sister saying that my mom would always wonder why she was still here and why Jesus hadn't taken her home yet. I like what you said to your grandfather about your grandmother cleaning and making the house ready for him, that was sweet :)

That's a really good goal...I forever procrastinate, so I'm rooting for you!

You probably helped your grandfather more than you'll ever know just by listening to him, and making him laugh!
